The film was a major hit and led to Dolly receiving a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress. The Best Little Wh*rehouse in Texas was released in 1982. In this musical comedy, Dolly starred opposite Burt Reynolds, and the movie was also a box office success. Her performance included the song "I Will Always Love You," which became one of her signature hits.
