Townes Van Zandt is buried in the Dido Cemetery in Fort Worth. His spot is located to the left just when you enter the cemetery, along with other members of the Van Zandt family. His song Poncho and Lefty is probably one of the best known songs of his. It was covered by Merle Haggard and Willie Nelson and many others.
