Thanks for your interest in the murder/mystery of Bobb Hopkins's "Rail Kings."
This movie is a favorite of mine, and I do not own any rights to it - this is to get the movie more exposure.

If you want to fast-track and save some time from my narration of scenes, check out the movie for free at https://dai.ly/x21o3ht
I have included a link to a real hobo - STOBE THE HOBO - who rode the high iron, however, STOBE died, yet these are great videos that demonstrate how one rides the rails.

BOBB HOPKINS - Filmmaker

Bobb started his career as an actor studying with legendary Actors Studio teacher Lee Strasberg (notable students include Marlon Brando, James Dean, Marilyn Monroe, Al Pacino, Robert DeNiro). Bobb then began working with some of the biggest stars in film and television (see acting demo reel). Since 1975 he has been producing, directing, and writing films (list of acting, writing, directing, producing credits IMDB profile).

He studied writing with screenplay guru Syd Fields (who tutored numerous Academy Award-winning writers) and graduated from Sherwood Oaks Film School where he learned all aspects of production from working directors and producers, including esteemed James B. Harris who produced three Stanley Kubrick movies (Clockwork Orange, Paths of Glory, Lolita).

Mr. Hopkins was born in Lynn, MA. He graduated from Swampscott High School and earned a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of New Hampshire. He was an All-Conference/All-New England Quarterback and Team Captain at UNH, then played briefly with the Chicago Bears and New York Jets. Soon after, he moved to San Francisco and worked as an accountant for Tri-Valley Growers before re-locating to Los Angeles to pursue a film career.

In 1987, after producing “The Great American Hobo” for PBS-TV, he founded the National Hobo Association to benefit needy hoboes and preserve the history of the American icon. Among the members were former hoboes Merle Haggard, Ernest Borgnine, James A. Michener, Roger Miller, and notorious attorney Melvin Belli (who represented Sirhan Sirhan, Errol Flynn, Muhammad Ali, The Stones, etc.).

Bobb has produced, directed, and written three theatrical movies, Rail Kings, 3 Below, and The 13th Alley, along with many TV shows and documentaries. He has written 27 screenplays, including Taken Alive. He has also starred in numerous TV series, movies, and commercials.
