In our daily link-up with TVP Vilnius, joining us on 12.01.2022 was Franak Viačorka, adviser of the Belarusian opposition leader, Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya. He talked about the rigged presidential elections in Belarus, pro-democratic opposition to Lukashenka’s regime and the Belarus-Russia relationship. He also described international support for the Belarusian pro-democratic revolution and the conditions to restore freedom in the country as well as the situation of the Belarusian political prisoners and the repression of Polish minority under Lukashenka’s regime.
