Best Dive Locations in The World (2020 Guide)

1. Philippines (8:16)
This is where Justin is currently in lockdown and filming this video. The Philippines has some of the best diving in the world for sure and for Justin, who dives pretty much everywhere in the world, this is his favorite location of all.

2. Mauritius (6:37)
The second best place for diving is the beautiful and extremely remote island nation of Mauritius. Located in the Indian Ocean in the middle of nowhere, the is the place that Mark Twain claimed was the influence for the creation of heaven. The rock formations here are also covered in marine life and corals. If you're going to come here, Flic en Flac is the highlight dive of the country.

3. Portugal (4:35)
Justin says that Portugal is one of the best diving locations in the world. While much of the Mediterranean is pretty barren rock-formation style diving, Portugal has the incredible Azores Islands that really set it above all the rest in the region. Thanks to seasonal manta rays and some incredibly diverse marine life, the Azores Islands are a diver's dream.

4. Egypt (2:53)
Justin claims that Egypt is his 4th favorite place for diving in the world. I'm surprised that he didn't place the incredible Red Sea higher up on this list, but he has gone diving in more places than me so he knows best! Still, from the Blue Hole to Thistlegorm, Dahab and Sharm El Sheikh are some of the best dive sites in the world for sure.

5. Indonesia (1:41)
This is a place where Justin and I did an epic 2-week diving trip together. From the incredible remote islands of Komodo National Park to the best dive location in the world, Raja Ampat, Indonesia is easily one of the best dive locations in the world.
