With only 11 days until election day, polling data is almost worthless. Every political pundit is cherry picking which poll shows them the results that they want to see and choose to believe. Everyone is stuck in an echo chamber supercharged to validate their confirmation bias.
However, there are ominous signs that Trump is pulling ahead and very well might be poised to win his second term. The Harris campaign is having more and more celebrity events with everyone from Samuel L. Jackson and Spike Lee in Atlanta to Beyonce and Kelly Roland in Houston this weekend.
Meanwhile Donald Trump appeared on the Joe Rogan podcast which has over 20 million views as of the time of this writing. Donald Trump has chosen to go into friendly spaces where he is not challenged on past or present actions of statements. Kamala Harris decided to go to FoxNews where she did not gain any supporters amongst the MAGA faithful, and perhaps even damaged tenuous support from voters who were still on the fence.
While all of this is transpiring, we have a never-seen overlap of voters who on the surface could not be more disparate. Inner city Black men on one end and the Amish community on the over have chosen to vociferously support Trump. Might this unlikely coalition on the margins be enough to push Trump to victory?
