While many would no doubt associate this great classic with Willie Nelson, he neither wrote the song, nor was the the first to record it. It was written by Fred Rose and originally recorded by Roy Acuff in 1947, and later by Hank Williams, Ferlin Husky, and Conway Twitty, all before Willie recorded his iconic version. But it was Willie's version that became the mammoth hit, soaring to #1 and winning a Grammy in 1975. Here we present our version of this classic tune for guitar.
