Construction Week's KSA Infrastructure Summit 2021 - Day One

Construction Week hosted the first day of the virtual KSA Infrastructure Summit, which comprise a two-day discussion debating the opportunities and challenges of the world-class infrastructure currently taking shape in the Kingdom.

Day one of the conference began with a welcome speech from Construction Week's Editor, Ashley Williams, and swiftly moved onto the keynote speech with Diriyah Gate Development Authority's Chief Design and Development Officer, Jonathan Timms.

The first panel of the conference - Analysing the Current State of Saudi Arabia's Infrastructure Sector - comprised Depa Interior's Director, Abdoullah Albizreh, the KSA Country Manager at ACCIONA Cultural Engineering, Daniel Orti, Mohamed Saad, Senior Development Director at Diriyah Gate Development Authority, and finally Autodesk's Senior Director for Infrastructure and Business Strategy, Theo Agelopoulos.

The second panel of the day discussed the progression of the public transport network in Saudi Arabia where we hosted panellists including Fenwick Elliott's Lead Partner for Saudi Arabia, Toby Randle, SNC-Lavalin Group's Senior Director for Atkins Acuity, Roger Cruickshank, and Systra Project Director Alexandre Jonard.
