CSSA July Meeting - Guest Speaker: 87walker

Hi everyone!
I am so incredibly excited to bring you this video.
As some of you will know already through FaceBook, I was given the opportunity to present a talk at my local cactus society.
The Cactus & Succulent Society of Australia was established in Melbourne in 1927!
It truly is the OG Cactus Club of Australia.

The club has a true sense of community and the people who attend are very kind and helpful.
If you are able to join, I highly recommend that you do. It truly is a fantastic club that I am immensley proud to be a part of.
There is time at the start of each monthly meeting to purchase plants and have general chit chat with other members and then there are announcements so you can keep up with the other clubs around the country.
The evening concludes with a talk / presentation.

This is the portion of the meeting that I did and I presented a talk on seedling grafting to Pereskiopsis which is a topic I enjoy very much.
Presenting live did take me out of my comfort zone as I am used to having the luxury of multiple takes and editing but seeing so many people smiling back while I was presnting made me feel comfortable and happy.
The response was very positive and I am very grateful for the opportunity.

There were some minor issues with the microphone so some parts of the audio do not sound the best.
