Come with us as we venture farther into this abandoned mine from the 1800s.
This time we find two awesome splits with rail that takes us through a beautiful solid rock tunnel with artifacts around every corner. The ore vein in this region went down at a 45 degree angle and twisted to almost 90 degrees where we stopped! We found multiple ore chutes that would have loaded the ore carts using gravity while miners worked the stopes above. The vein goes down for thousands of feet but with a price. The miners had to constantly pump out water from the lower levels which was expensive and eventually not profitable bringing this mine to a close during the 1950s.Normal oxygen levels are 20.9%.We hit lots of pockets of air that where 19.3%.My o2 life meter alarms at 19.5% thats why it was beeping the whole time.19.5% is still considered safe to proceed.
Come along and see what not many will see into the unknown history that built our country!!

**Please Note: Exploring Abandoned locations can be dangerous and deadly. I don't condone or encourage anyone to enter an Abandoned structure. Not only is safety a concern, but often times its illegal and when possible, I seek out permission. I simply go to document its history before it's gone and leave things the way I find them. I assume all the risks & responsibility in doing so. Please don't attempt to do this on your own.
