Dolly Parton visited Delaware in May 2022 to celebrate Dolly Parton's Imagination Library expanding statewide. Governor Carney and First Spouse Tracey Quillen Carney also visited the Lewes Public Library, which first offered the program to patrons in 2018.

Children ages birth up to their 5th birthday receive a book in the mail each month at no charge to families. The program is open to ALL Delaware children up to 5 years of age.
