Beautiful Anita Wood was a performer, radio DJ, musical artist, a former girlfriend of Elvis Presley and devoted her life to children.
Anita and Elvis dated from 1957 - 1962.
Elvis' nickname for Anita was, Little Bitty and Little. Anita and Elvis' mother, Gladys, became very close. Anita recalls that after Elvis left for the Army, Gladys was feeling bad and they would often talk about the time that Elvis would marry Anita. She also spent a lot of time at Fort Hood and Graceland with Elvis and his family.
After Anita and Elvis split up, she married Johnny Brewer, a professional football player. Anita and Johnny and were married for 46 yrs.
