What to eat in Saigon at night? This video reveals one of the most epic nights we have in Vietnam so far. We explored deep into the local experience and food culture in the nighttime in Saigon ( Ho Chi Minh City - HCMC). In this video, you will get to explore with us the highlight of Vietnamese cuisine, We also get a chance to cook some of the food by ourselves, we mingled with many friendly locals and see the way they truly hang out at night in a local area, get to try plenty of unique Vietnamese food for the first time and try some of their weirdest food as well.
Vietnamese Food We Tried :
1. Banh Uot: a Vietnamese thin pancake wrapper consisting of rice noodle sheets, eaten with nước chấm, fried shallots, and a side of chả lụa (Vietnamese pork sausage).
2. Bánh canh : thick Vietnamese noodle that can be made from tapioca flour or a mixture of rice and tapioca flour. "Cake" refers to the thick sheet of uncooked dough from which the noodles are cut.
3. Bánh xèo: Vietnamese savory fried pancake made of rice flour, water, and turmeric powder. It is stuffed with individual preferences, and served vegetarian or with meat. Some common stuffings include: pork, shrimp, diced green onion, mung bean, and bean sprouts.
4. bò lá lốt ("grilled beef, in lolot leaf") or thịt bò lá lốt ("beef, leaf of lolot"), bò nướng lá lốt is a dish consisting of Vietnamese beef in lolot leaves, which are called "betel" leaves by some English magazines. The leaves smell spicy but have a medicinal taste. The food is often served or sold at barbecues.
5. Grilled BBQ
6. Vietnamese dessert made out of black sticky rice
7. Balut : Balut is a developing bird embryo (usually a duck) that is boiled and eaten from the shell. It originated from and is commonly sold as street food in the Philippines.
(NOTE : We get the definition of each food detail from wikipedia )

- You do not have to be rich to travel non-stop -
American and Thai Millennials left the career in military and finance to become travel story tellers, proving the world that you don't have to be rich to travel well. Met in August, 2015 in South Korea, kicked off traveling in September, 2017 with $4000 in saving account and first started publishing our journey on the way we live the life we have always dreamt of - traveling and being able to work wherever we love ( as long as there is Wi-Fi and coffee)
☼ Currently homeless, live the life out of luggage, travel non-stop, and grow love along the way.
☼ We are deeply into traveling, doing what locals do, managing the budget to travel non-stop, challenging ourselves daily.
☼ Everything we show you here is to not only show you how our world is such an interesting place to explore, but also inspire you to live the life you love especially when you dream of traveling.
