On Saturday 11 January 2020, my friend Mark and I returned to the Feng Bi Stream (鳳壁石澗) for another great day of adventure in the mountains.
Navigating the middle section of the stream from the top down (from Lantau Trail to Shek Pik Country Trail), we abseiled down the various cliffs, the main goal being climbing a long waterfall which forms one of the main features in the stream.
We also explored some potential roped scrambles and climbs for the future.
This video, the latest instalment in my occasional vlog, also features some drone footage from 3 years ago, to help illustrate the various features of the stream.
The day is also documented, with a detailed description, in my Strava upload here:

Despite its relative ease of access and proximity to major trails and tourist attractions, this place rightly has a reputation as one of the most notoriously difficult and dangerous places in Hong Kong. There have been several deaths of hikers here, so I would strongly caution against venturing into this area without the requisite equipment, skills and partners.
