"Highwayman" ???? (1977) ???? by American singer-songwriter Jimmy Webb is the latest feature on #RattlersRoots. In 1985, the song became the inspiration for the supergroup ⚡The Highwaymen⚡ (????????Johnny Cash, ????????Waylon Jennings, ????????Willie Nelson, &???????? Kris Kristofferson). These men both solo and collectively are some of the influences at the top of my honky tonk heroes list. Here's my arrangement stripped down to the bones.
