My instrumental Version of a song written by Merle Haggard which I perform on my Byrl Churchwood Resonator Guitar, Martin D15m acoustic guitar, and Ibanez Mikro Bass Guitar. Back in 2014, a good friend of mine, who was the local Police Chief, battled cancer. We had just begun to pick bluegrass music together a few months earlier. He had 2 favorite songs, the first being "Lorena", an old Civil War tune, and Merle's "Holding Things Together". I decided to do this song today and dedicate it to Jim Vanover of Carthage, Texas. He has been able to "Hold Things Together" these past 10 years because of his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Jim....Praying for you as you continue to fight health issues!
