Here lies a Merle Haggard tune I found on a Willie and Merle album. I think I've listened to it 200 times in a row after I found it. My Grandmothers name is Mary. I changed the lyric from pepper to pear tree at the end because we used to walk underneath her pear tree when would be outside playing. I do not own the rights to this song. Hope you enjoy!
