Interview with Colby Acuff- The Country Music Show

On this episode I am joined by country artist Colby Acuff and we are going to dive into his music career so far, the stories behind some of his songs and the artists songs that have inspired and influenced him!

Colby Acuff is an independent country artist from northern Idaho who blends old school storytelling with his powerful voice. He’s got that really cool outlaw, traditional sound going on. He grew up listening to all kinds of country music and drew inspiration from Hank Williams, Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, Ricky Skaggs, and many more. He released his debut album called “Life of a Rolling Stone” in 2020 but everything got put on hold because of the pandemic. But he didn’t give up and he doubled down and a year later released his second album “If I Were the Devil". In the first 6 months, the album had gotten over 6 million total streams and has been featured on over 50 media outlets including Whiskey Riff, and CMT. He will also be releasing his third album very soon and released the first single off that called "Last Buffalo".
