Hailed by Billboard as “an introspective, mature writer and a skilled vocalist,” Jordyn Shellhart is ready to share her music through her own voice. Pulling foundational inspiration from artists such as Emmylou Harris and Kris Kristofferson and modern sensibilities of Taylor Swift and Kacey Musgraves, Shellhart has country music in her blood. Born in Wyoming and ultimately ending up in Nashville at the age of 10, Shellhart was thrown into the scene with a publishing deal, record deal, Grand Ole Opry debut and on a country-wide tour all by the age of 16. Through a good number of twists, turns and worldview shakeups, she found herself racking up credits as a songwriter, including Little Big Town’s Grammy-nominated “Sugar Coat” and songs recorded by Kelsea Ballerini, Cody Johnson, Don Williams and more. “Who Are You Mad At,” Shellhart’s debut track release with Warner Music Nashville, is just the beginning for this dreamer, with more original music set to release this spring.
