I am a little late to the Kris Kristofferson party, so I've been going through his tunes after a recent Patreon poll sent me his way. I've really loved sitting with his lyrics and uncovering new tunes.

This is the first of many that stuck out. The idea of being lost in a city that is unwelcoming is pretty relatable. Even though people often don't mean to be cold, we just have so much going on that we don't realize the people trying to reach us until it's too late. In the song he'd rather go back to nowhere than put up with feeling lost, and it seems like he will go into traffic to find that "nowhere".
