The Big Idea:
I can be close to God by talking more to Him.
Key Bible Verse:
“God has surely listened. He has heard my prayer. He has not held back His love for me.” - Psalms 66: 19-20 (It would be good for parents to go through the bible verse with the kids before watching the Video Lesson, and have a little notebook or journal where children can copy down the verse/draw something related to it).

Home Activities: Praying Hands craft
Let us do a simple craft to wrap up our lesson for today! We will be doing a Praying Hands craft!
Firstly, you need an image of a boy/girl with spread out arms. So you can do so by drawing it out with a marker on a white drawing paper.
Okay, once you have drawn, you can colour it with your colour pencils or markers.
Now grab your scissors and cut it out! Make sure you get a grown up to help you! Once done colouring, paste the spread out hands together to form “praying hands”.
Then, punch a hole at the top and tie a string through so you can hang it up to remind themselves each day of the importance of praying to be close to our Daddy God!
