We've got another new music video coming out this week called "Broken Dreams". This is one of our favorite song lyrics on the album. Sobriety is way better than the blues, but if you ain't doing what you're supposed to be doing, about the only way you can find temporary happiness is non-sobriety. Of course then ya come down & it's worse than before.
We love L.A. and there's a few qualities it has like culture and food that we can miss, but it wasn't the place for us to grow roots. We moved to L.A.to make it, but found that the industry had a set way they wanted us to do things; a path we didn't want to go down. At one time Jill and I were on the verge of signing a record deal. A gentleman who'd been an A&R of Sony and A&M told us we were looking at getting $200,000-$300,000 for our signing bonus. The door shut the last minute though and we took it as it just wasn't meant to be. Sometimes dreams are shattered, but then you find yourself better off down the road. So, we thank God for the boulevard of broken dreams. Had I had the success I sought I may have ended up another overdose, would have never met Jill, and Jedidiah never would have been born. Some things are way more important than fortune & fame for one's self. Many things. #brokendreams #losangeles #americana ????✌️

In Feb.2008, we met in LA, left the city in 2009 and lived on the road completing 7 U.S. tours. We traveled up until we gave birth to our son in Dec. 2011.
