Leonards Picks ~
A song about my great Uncle Leonard Ice who influenced me to play guitar when I was 8 years old!

Here are the words...
1:
There's a story of a man in our town,
Many a folk thought that he was star bound;
with his guitar, he always got his kicks,
There was always some magic in Leonard's Picks!
Bridge 1:
Story says he wrote many a song,
He played with many bands short and long;
Once he showed me all his fancy licks,
But I could never play the way that, Leonard Picks!
2:
He said: Always get paid for your sound,
He said: Money talks, it makes the world go round;
He said: Never take a worry to other hicks,
Just try and play the way that, Leonard Picks!
Bridge 2:
He has gone to that mansion in the sky,
Where he picks his magic songs every night;
Now he's playing in that Heavenly band,
I dedicate this song to the Man!
3:
When Leonard died, I promised to go on,
To try and pick and sing his magic song;
There's a moral to this story of Leonard's licks,
To this day, I still carry, Leonard's Picks!
Yeah! -
To this day, I still carry Leonard's Picks!
