At the same time there is gratitude to God for saving his soul for all eternity. There is a renewed resolution that, especially in tragedy, we fight and will not be separated from God. Because God is eternal. Heaven is eternal. Life here is not.

The loss of someone so young yet filled with faith in Christ is a stark reminder to turn to Jesus Christ for eternal salvation. That IS the meaning life and life that can be cut short without notice at any time. There is only that. Earth is temporary. Heaven is eternal. You Are My God Even Now
