Me and my guitar in my library. Kris Kristofferson wrote this song and it was first recorded and released by Roger Miller in 1969. Janice Joplin recorded the song a few days before her death in 1970. It was her only No. 1 single and was ranked No. 148 on Rolling Stone’s list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time. Here’s my version. Thanks for listening and sharing.
