Transcript:
CJ: Cate Blanchett has ridiculed the idea of “My truth” in a recent interview with Harper’s Bazaar UK, saying that “Truth is just the truth, isn’t it?”
M: Cate who?
H: Ha ha.. That’s right.
CJ: She also added “language is so important: my perspective is one thing, but My truth, I just don’t know what that is?”
M: People need to be able to speak their truth, it’s a fundamental right, a human right
H: Unless your truth is made up of heinous lies about my Meghan!
M: (nod) My truth is, my truth, how can i describe it?
H: Tell us your truth about the meaning of my truth Meghan
CJ: (slight smile - head from Harry to Meghan)
M: My truth is an opportunity, in essence, an opportunity to give full expression to your momentary oneness, to give eternal validation to your being, your life
H: It’s like Shakespeare reborn
M: To escape the shackles of judgementation, the judgementation of others, holding us back with their strict version of truth
H: Those times are gone. It’s all up for grabs now.
CJ: That seems to be the case Harry, although Meghan, do you agree with Mrs. Fairground Bouquet, who’s cat is a Tom and who’s dog was a stray, who says: “My truth means my personal experience or opinion - for which we already have words - resulting only therefore in the corruption of the term “truth”.
H: I really really disagree with that. Really disagree with that. I can’t tell you who much I disagree with. I literally can’t tell you so I’m going to ask Meghan to take over, Meghan
M: I think that Mrs Fariground Bouquet
H: Oh yeah, and that’s another thing - Mrs Fairground Bouquet, where do you find these people?
CJ: Mrs Bouquet is retired microbiologist who has received multiple awards for innovation in her field; she retired early so her and her husband could become foster parents to abandoned and under-privileged children.
H: Well, isn’t she a saint / keep up the good work
M: Like I was saying, I think Mrs Bouquet has misunderstood the subtle significance of the affirmation, the personalised certification of our precise wavelength
H: (Harry doing a wavelength horizontally)
CJ: Yes Meghan, it’s fascinating, but does it not concern you, that to some, this is little more that asinine psycho-babbling pompously delivered in beglittered sophistry.
(Harry with dictionary)
M: What are you looking up: asinine or sophistry?
H: Delivered
