Hello friends, and welcome to another lick of the week! In today’s lesson we will seek to develop a better understanding of how to solo over major keys. To help expand your command of the fretbaord, I’ll be showing you how I use the major scale in “chordal form” to develop licks that are melodic and closely connected to the progression I’m performing over. We will combine several scales and positions to create a lick that is as country as it is rock & roll. Let's get started!
