Bakersfield Latin reggae ska band MENTO BURU pay tribute to the late great Merle Haggard with a groovin' country-tinged reggae reworking of The Hag's final recording, "Kern River Blues". The 5-song ep of the same name will be available on all streaming music platforms beginning APRIL 6, 2024 to commemorate Merle's birthday and crossover to the big honkytonk in the sky.
