Wesley Snipes and Woody Harrelson star as John and Charlie, foster brothers who both work as transit cops for the New York City subway system. The two share a life-long fantasy of robbing the train they're supposed to be protecting: the Money Train that collects millions of dollars each night from NYC subway stations. Only two things stand in their way: (1) they're cops; and (2) Donald Patterson (Robert Blake)-their boss-the hard-nosed MTA chief. They're his trains, his money, and he's never been robbed. When John and Charlie are joined by a beautiful new cop, Grace Santiago (Jennifer Lopez), tension erupts between them as they vie for her affection. Desperate to impress Grace, Charlie attempts to carry out their fantasies about the Money Train-and it's up to John to stop him.
