Angela Mariani, D.M., of the Texas Tech School of Music
introduces us to the world of “historical performance,”
sometimes referred to as “early music,” in which
musicians explore the repertoires, performance
practices, and musical processes of much earlier times.

Instructor: Angela Mariani, D.M., is professor of musicology and
the founder and director of the Texas Tech Collegium
Musicum (performing medieval, Renaissance and early
Baroque music).
