Each year over 10,000 airplanes fly into Airventure in Oshkosh Wisconsin. It is truly impressive. Volunteer air traffic controllers help work what ends up being the busiest controller tower in the world for one week. The process is outlined in a large NOTAM published each year before the event. Overall, it is amazingly safe but every year there are a few airplanes crashes. In this video you ride along with Paul and I as we fly the FISK arrival procedure and demonstrate how even experienced pilots can fall victim to basic mistakes under the pressure of flying into Oshkosh. Please enjoy!
