Rock'n with Observation in Costa Rica- Igneous Rocks #1

Join your adventurous science teacher on a journey from the Costa Rican Cloud Forest to the tide pools of the Pacific Ocean. Along the way, learn about some of the animals living in the cloud forest. See some swimmers in the tide pools, and learn how the volcanoes and igneous rocks connect the land.

This is the first of a series of videos exploring geology and rocks. In this video, we will see igneous rocks being formed Arenal, a volcano that erupted for many years. Seeing lava become rock will help us identify volcanic rocks in Costa Rica and other parts of the world. Wherever we see these rocks, they will help tell a story of how the land has changed and is changing.
