Rolling Stones Style Country Rock Solo in D
Here’s a solo that’s styled off of “Dead Flowers” by the Rolling Stones. Since the song’s style is country rock, I’m using a lot of major pentatonic sounds along with slides and most importantly pedal steel licks. It’s a lot of fun to play and sounds great! Hopefully Keef would be happy with this!
Dead Flowers is from the Sticky Fingers album, and it’s influenced by the relationship Jagger and Richards had with Gram Parsons.
Here’s the TAB: https://www.dropbox.com/s/cj92jfrv05u4gqi/Country%20Rock%20Solo%20in%20D.pdf?dl=0
