The Labrador Friendship Centre's SHIELD (Sexual Health Information Exchange Labrador District) Project hosted Labrador Unplugged in July 2020. The winner of this event was 18 year old Ethan Angnatok from Nain, Nunatsiavut, Canada. His prize included an audio recording & music video production of his song Sightless Birds.

We are incredibly honoured to be able to present to you this incredible original piece by Ethan, who is a very talented & humble Inuk male. A role model in his community, Ethan facilitates various skill sharing events such as cooking classes & jam sessions at the local youth centre. He speaks passionately about his love for music & how it helps him through mental health struggles. Now graduated from high school and working with Frontier College, Ethan, continues to inspire. We are truly grateful to be connected to him.

Sound recording by the Lawrence O'Brien Arts Centre in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Newfoundland & Labrador, Canada.
