Eugene Friesen had heard the great Flamenco guitarist, Paco de Lucia, on a previous trip to Spain, and that experience inspired him to create this offering to the tour. Eugene used the theme from his piece “Bright Angel’ as a point of departure, which originally came out of his experience at the Grand Canyon.
