Stephen K. Peeples and Nadine Ann Martini exchanged wedding vows at historic Casa Adobe de San Rafael in Glendale, California, on Saturday, September 26, 1981.

More than 100 family members and friends witnessed the nuptials, as our photographer friends Henry Diltz and Peter Sherman documented the afternoon in living color and black & white.

Forty years later, September 2021, Stephen produced this slideshow, collaborating with son Scot Peeples, as a surprise gift to Nadine for their 40th wedding anniversary. To say it was well-received when first presented would be an epic understatement.

All the music pieces survived the upload to YouTube except The Beatles' "In My Life," so there's silence from 8:21 to 10:42. But you know the song and the message; just imagine John singing it during the gap. Or sing it out loud yourself!
