Strawberry Festival in Plant City Florida - Video from a Child's Perspective! Plus helpful details.

The annual Strawberry Festival kicks of Thursday and runs through March 12th! Headline entertainers this year include Ludacris, Willie Nelson, Josh Turner, Oak Ridge Boys, Sara Evans, Isley Brothers and many more. Despite the masses, Colt and I had a great time playing the games, eating, and #winning. As you’ll see in the pics, he was determined to win a sloth. Haha. I miss age 5 and I’m sure I’ll miss 7 as well. It goes too fast.

Cost: Advance purchase on website is $8 for age 13+ and $4 for 6-12 ($10/$5 at gate). Entry fee does not include cost for parking ($5 for cars), games, rides, nor food.

Rides: 80+ rides, games, & attractions for all ages, including the largest mobile Ferris wheel in the USA ($7/ride). The Kiddie Korral section offers “pint-sized accommodations” for younger kids.

Food Contests: 8 of them, including strawberry stemming + corndog eating contest

Neighborhood Village: Includes homemade & handcrafted items in a climate-controlled building

General Entertainment (free w/ gate admission): Many talented entertainers & musicians onsite. Check website

Kids: Coloring Corner, Rock-It the Robot, “Every kid's favorite Festival friend” 9ft tall, sings, dances, & interacts with guests daily at 1pm, 3pm, and 6pm. Racing pigs and all kinds of other things too.
