Upon my Grandfather's passing in 2020, I came to deeply dive into a book known as The Urantia Book. He and my father both are deep readers of this book. It is a spiritual and esoteric collection of three separate stories. It is a very avant garde and obscure selection that quite randomly appeared into my life. What I came to find so odd about the book's presence in my life was its lineage of readers: Jimi Hendrix, Jerry Garcia, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Willie Nelson, Jaco Pastorius, and Steve Vai. And now, myself. The book definitely has meaning for me to uncover, so I had to reach out to Steve to hear his thoughts on the subject. This was one of the most Cosmic Conversations I have ever had. There are few guitarists that have as big an effect on my approach to practice, learning, and discipline for music as Steve Vai does for me. He is the quintessential guitar hero.
