THVN - PLEŚŃ (full album, 2020)

Today we are pleased to introduce to you the debut album from new Polish band THVN!

These eight tracks are a fetid, rotted form of black metal. Borrowing some of the mustier, visceral influences from death metal and lacing them through a lean, aggressive form of multi-genre metal – after the intro, this kicks off like Iron Monkey, gets up to the stratospheric atmoblack of bands like Au-Dessus, and pulls in myriad influences into a ripping experience of self-termed “basement black metal”

The album was recorded, mixed and mastered by Piotr Semiras @ Tranzystor Studio, Wrocław, with some pretty gnarly artwork by Björn Grasses of Grasenstyle Blood Artworks. Great stuff!
