In 1981, Tompall & the Glaser Brothers released their version of Kris Kristofferson's "Lovin' Her Was Easier (than Anything I'll Ever Do Again)", their third single following their reunion a year earlier and their highest-charting single. Following the song's release, the Glaser brothers recorded only four more cuts for their label Elektra before disbanding a second time.
