Ukulele Advent Calendar 2022 - Dec. 10: “If We Make it Through December”

I recorded Merle Haggard’s “If We Make it Through December” (1973) back in 2020, and I was torn about whether to repeat it this year. I do love this sad song. What made my mind up for me was being asked to accompany a church friend on this for a service, which meant I needed to rehearse it and get it “performance-ready.” I figured as long as I was rehearsing it I might as well record. What a song!
