Learn how the popular PBS program Finding Your Roots can inspire students to find their place in history by exploring their family tree. Use resources from PBS, Humanities Montana and the Montana Historical Society to lead students on a discovery of their personal identity and family history, by exploring significant historical events using primary source research and DNA testing. Help students document this exploration using We Video to create multimedia projects. This session was recorded to provide an overview of resources teachers can use to support digital storytelling with students using Finding Your Roots and We Video.
