In FKT News:
Eric Kosek hammered out a new best on the Old Logger’s Path in North Central PA covering the 27 mile route with 4,400 feet of gain in 3:58. He goes back at it today, March 31st for an attempt at the Loyalsock Trail FKT.

In the running gear and shop world:
Ian’s been wear-testing two models of RaidLight and liking both.
New Balance to start making face mask prototypes in its Massachusetts factory
Shops working to pivot into email / phone orders, porch drops and deliveries, and getting with the ECommerce program. Check with your local run specialty shop...they can for sure use you now, and may have some options to get you product.

One shop granted successful appeal of an Essential Business classification, and that is based on essential health and wellness, and needing to get solid footwear on mandatory workers feet like doctors and nurses
Trails Collective - given the times, spinning to bring a segway into ECommerce live for the website rollout in a week or two. Stay tuned.

April 4th, to benefit Finger Lakes Running Co, Collegetown Bagels, and Finger Lakes Fit Club
Ellie and Amelia treadmill it up for a whole lotta mind and soul numbing miles. A bit over 4 miles on the hour, every hour, until only one in the virtual nationwide field standing. Donate to the cause or find yourself a 4.16 mile circuit near your home and join the beat down.

A virtual run to raise money for the Rochester area running stores – We have no cap – and we want to raise as much money as possible to be split 3 ways between Rochester Running Company – Medved Running and Walking Outfitters – Fleet Feet Rochester. The shops can do what they need with the money we raise.
Results are due by 9pm on April 5th
