New video from Afghanistan shows a baby being passed over a barbed wire fence to a soldier in Kabul airport this week as thousands of people tried to flee the capital following the Taliban’s takeover.

Footage captured on Tuesday also showed crowds of people pushing, shoving and climbing walls as they attempted to get to an airfield where military planes were evacuating people from the country.

Another video shot on Wednesday showed US soldiers firing tear gas to disperse those gathered while Taliban soldiers drove past crowds, according to NGO Rise to Peace.
