Vox, in its latest "borders" episode on India, claims, "In India, Muslims are being killed over cows." No doubt there are instances of cow vigilante violence that need to be put down with the full force of the law. But is the story of cow-related or religious violence so black and white in India?
I expected Vox, as a serious news organization to look at all aspects of this multifaceted issues, but sadly, Vox simply parrots the mainstream line. It ignores the serious issues of illegal smuggling, illegal slaughterhouses, smuggling violence, massive law, and order and police issues, and pins the blame solely on "Hindu fascism".
It's a shame that a serious news organization like Vox did not do its due diligence and openly maligned an entire community and country for YouTube views.
