This is the second time we've been to the Monterey Pensilua, Carmel and Big Sur. It was just as stunning as we remember. This time we peeled the onion one more layer and did things we "missed" the first time. Such as taking a short hike to the beach, staying at Pfieffer State Park, visiting McWay Falls and eating at Big Sur Tap House. Have you ever been told, "you missed it?!?". It usually comes from people that have been somewhere a dozen times, which begs the question, what did they do on their first visit? Bottom line, RV the way that makes you happy. If you want to go fast to keep the family entertained, go fast! Want to go slow and see things off the beaten path, have at it!
