Dolly Parton wanted Miley Cyrus to play 'Jolene'

Parton originally saw Cyrus in Julianne Hough's role in the series "Heartstrings." The series is inspired by Parton's music. Each episode of the show will be based on one of Parton's iconic songs. Though she preferred Cyrus, Parton admits Hough was a great casting choice.
