I was painting my stepsister’s fingernails when she suddenly sneezed violently. Her hand moved, and the nail polish smudged. “Hey, be careful!” she screamed. “It happened because you sneezed! I’ll clean it right away,” I replied. My stepsister said, “You always have an excuse, don’t you? You never own up to your mistakes. Whatever, just keep painting. Emily’s birthday party is at 7. I don’t want to be late,” I was surprised.
