Ukraine war: Drone footage shows aftermath of Ukraine helicopter strike

The Ukrainian National Guard released footage of what it said was the aftermath of its forces shooting down a Russian helicopter on April 21.

The video shows a fire among fields as a second helicopter releases flares in an apparent attempt to avoid being targeted. Another video, released by the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense on Thursday, showed a helicopter being targeted in the area.

The Ukrainian National Guard said the fire seen in this footage was the burning wreckage of a Russian Ka-52 attack helicopter that was shot down by an air defense unit.
