Kelly Clarkson performs ‘I Will Always Love You’ in a tribute to Dolly Parton at the 2022 ACM Awards. Parton, who also served as the night’s host, came out onstage to praise Kelly’s performance. ‘I was backstage trying not to cry my false eyelashes and slinging snot in every direction,’ the ‘Jolene’ singer jokes. Following the performance, she took a moment to shout out the late Whitney Houston, who made the track famous with her rendition 30 years ago for ‘The Bodyguard.’ The 57th Academy of Country Music Awards streams March 7 on Prime Video.
